JAYAPURA
Jayapura is the capital city of Irian Jaya Province. There are several interest places such as Sentani Lake, museum, market and monument of General Douglas Mac Arthur who led the Allied Force during the World War II in 1942. Besides them, sandy beach is good for swimming, diving or snorkeling and bird watching available in the Southern of Jayapura. |

| HOW TO REACH IRIAN JAYA |
| Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya and Medan are the main gates for entering Indonesia. Daily flight available by Batavia air, Garuda, Merpati & Express air from Jakarta to Jayapura with transit Bali, Sulawesi, Biak/Timika. To travel around of Irian Jaya mostly by air transport, from Jayapura to Wamena available with Trigana regular flight, while Missionary flights can be also chartered to and from remote villages. |
